Her father is clarinetist and band leader. Father's band often
rehearsed at home he went because then she sing well. After gra-
duating from the local high school, the New Deal Rhysm Band jo-
ined, and sung at coffee house, singing method of musical impro-
visation and singing brought to shine. Concert tour there in the
eyes of talent scouts office stopped for a few months there as a
solo singer from Los Angeles clubs began to appear. Her manager
in 1979 Manhattan Transfer is seeking new members auditions
to perform and to obtain information and apply it to her Members.
After joining the first album of 1979 "Birdland", it is admirable
Grammy awards and has since Grammy Award ten times more than
awarded. And in 1988 with the bassist Rob Wasserman is the duet
album released to the applause reviews. Also for June Christy
dedicated solo debue album "Somethig Cool" released. And for the
1990 film "Dick Tracy", and in 1991, director Alan Rudolph's film
"Mortal Thoughts" with Mark Isham's trumpet in sound tracks sang
a song. In 2000, Cole Porter's musical based on "Dreaming Of Mister
Porter" recording and performances in Boston and Seattle and to
got good reputation. At King Records in Japan and three from the
solo albums "Talk Of The Town", "Moonlight Serenade", "The Light
Still Burn" released, "Talk Of The Town" re-released in the United
States in 2004 by "Telarc" label. In 2005, next one from the same
label for Anita O'day dedicated to "Let Me Off Uptown" released.
And in 2006, "Book Of Love", have been released. And Japan's King
Records from the fourth solo album as this Waltz for Debby has
been released. This CD got a gold disk prize by Swing Journal ma-
gazine. The CD is also the site of viewers who purchased through
Amazon that I know, then I wanted introduce this CD for everyone.
